Technical Meeting of REDD+ Core Unit members held on 1st August, 2014

      On 1st August, 2014, the Technical Meeting of REDD+ Core Unit members was held at the Headquarter of the Forest Department, Nay Pyi Taw. The objective of the meeting is to develop “Social and Environmental Safeguard Information System” for REDD+ activities in Myanmar.
       A total of 21 core unit members from different divisions of Forest Department attended and discussed the development of Social and Environmental Standards which consist of principles, criteria and indicators for REDD+ Safeguards.
     The meeting developed the principles and criteria of the Social and Environmental Standards for REDD+ Safeguards.
